Bonjour,

I use the Pilote Studio version (Nvidia Control Panel)
So weird, I just change my GPU 3 months ago, I am really concerned about "run out of VRAM"... 😕😕
I will do what you said, Hope it will help

Hi @Cyrille Fragnire - Are you using the game driver or the studio driver for your 4080 Super?  If you open the Nvidia Control panel it should tell you.

That error is Premiere telling you that you are running out of VRAM. This page explains how the effects order in Premiere is worked out. (an article from the makers of Neat Video)

I would recommend following the order of effects in this article and then let us know if that helps.

Thanks for having me posting here.

- I have the same issue on two different projects in Premiere 24 and 25. I'm not switching between, otherwise the different projects (like the one on 24) won't work with 25.
- Adjustment layer : Just another one "Lumetri" but not on every rushes. And for "stabilization", it's on 80-90% of rushes, but just some of them make the bug report happen
- Plugin : No Plugin
- In a project : I could render properly IF i deleted the adjustement layer "Stabilization" in every rushes that made trouble and ended with Bug Report (I had some rushes with stabilization that didn't make a Bug report, I let them, and some rushes did, so I deleted the layer). 20 rushes had stabilization on and it made no trouble for the final render. Very strange...
- Works if switching Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only. It render properly... Thank for that. But it takes 4-5x times more time than ever, it slows my workflow. Every layer I put on a rushe (Like "Lumetri"), it makes the timeline red and need to "pre-render" to see it properly in preview. Final Render with it = 9 min. Before, just 2 min. Why it is like that, I loved the set up before.. ?

Here is my Bug Report :

  • Issue - I already explained it above
  • Adobe Premiere Pro version number: it happens on Premiere Pro 25.1.0 and Premiere Pro 24.
  • Operating system - Windows 11
  • System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD:
    • CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor, 3401 MHz, 8 coeur(s), 16 processors

    • GPU : Nvidia RTX 4080 SUPER
    • GPU driver (PC) : Nvidia, Version : 32.0.15.6636
    • RAM : 64 GO

    • Hard Drive : WD Elements 25A3 USB Device

  • Video format: XAVC s 4k - 25p - 140M 4:2:2 10bit
  • Workflow details: It's just and Before/after video in construction, not really complex project, a line for music, a line for video with transitions, 1-2 lines for Threads and title, logo. I just need to adjust the placement of the rushes to match together (zoom or de-zoom) and use some layers like "lumetri" or "stabilization" if needed (the record camera in hand, no stabilizer)
  • Steps to reproduce - (Very important!)
    1) Import the files in Premiere Pro
    2) Edit with music
    3) add transitions between rushes
    4) Add adjustment layer like Lumetri of Stabilization
    5) Add Threads, title and logo
    6) Render
  • Expected result - Normally render in 2 minutes, easy, like the 10 years before
  • Actual result -  Made a lot of bug report, but in some rushes indepently (make a bug in 00:16 for the "AE.ADBE SubspaceStabilization", I deleted this part, so make a bug in 00:56 for the "AE.ADBE SubspaceStabilization", I deleted this part, so make a bug in 01:34 for the "AE.ADBE SubspaceStabilization", so on... Till I can make a proper render, but with somes rushes not entirely stabilizated

Hope you can find me understand the bug. Thanks you

Hi Cyrille,

We're sorry about the error. Please let us know more about the system specs (CPU, GPU & RAM). Also, for testing purposes, have you tried switching Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only to check if it's rendering properly?

Thanks,

Sumeet

Hi @Cyrille Fragnire,

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here.

Is the issue happening in both 24 and 25?  Are you switching the same project back and forth?  Are you using an Adjustment Layer?  Do you have any plugins installed?

Check out this post to see if it is similar to your error.

If not, we need a few more details to help with this issue. Please see: How do I write a bug report?

I hope we can help you soon. Sorry for the frustration!
