Question

Everything is slow, apps not functioning, wanna give up

I have the MacBook Pro M2 2022, I got it as my M1 got stolen and I had inssurance so I thought I may aswell take the upgrade. I sincereley wish I hadn't. Adobe has such a huge compatibility issue with this laptop. Photoshop is painstakingly slow; I can't change a font without giving it a few hours to consider the idea. Premiere pro won't even open, when it does it spends ages trying to import relatively small files. I am in the middle of editing a documentary so this is not ideal. Has anyone else been having issues? I am unsure if it is my laptop or adobe. Have taken my laptop to the apple store, reinstalled macOS after wiping the computer. All of the apps I state I have been using the 2023 version, I tried instaling older versions but still had the same issues. I have checked activity monitor and it doesn't flag anything up on it. Anyone else dealt with something like this?
