Export Markers HTML progress freezes on export

Question

When exporting Markers as HTML, the progress bar freezes at a tiny percent (blue half circle on left of progress bar).
After several minutes, I cancelled the export, and receive pop-up that export has completed. Browsing to the exported folder, the HTML opens with all text data, but only the first image. All other images are disconnected and not found in the HTML's images folder.

I've tried on several sequences, some with as little as three markers. Interestingly, the only sequence that will export any images at all is a very long sequence with lots of markers. All other sequences, even the simple ones, don't export any images at all.

I've tried exporting to external hard drive and desktop, but that didn't solve the issue. Exporting markers as .CSV works fine.

Sorry about being late to chime in on this one, but that's because the title of the markers probably have odd symbols that premiere can't generate onto the thumbail files (it names the thumbnails the same thing you title the marker).
Remove the symbols and it should export fine.
eg. / ' " *# @ are not able to be exported onto file names.
