HEIC Error

I've been trying to edit some footage thats in the HEIC codec, PP says that it can read it, however when I try and import it, it keep getting and erro message saying "The Importer reported a generic code".

    Hi jeffery347966600fms,

     

    Let us know the version of Premiere Pro & the OS that you are using. If you are on Windows, have you installed HEIF Image Extensions from Microsoft?
