Help with Importing Minecraft footage

So, I recently switched from adobe premiere elements to adobe premiere pro, so I could edit a Minecraft series on my channel. However, since I need to pull bits of the footage for the intro, I tried to import the first session of my footage, which is roughly 5 hours long. I figured that this would be easier said than done, as elements allowed me to import footage that was almost 7 hours in length with no problems all. However, every time I've tried to import the 5-hour footage, premiere pro just crashes. Drag it in? Crashes. Import from the media explorer? Crashes. This has been really infuriating, as I this one issue has been stopping me from doing any work on the rest of the series. I was wondering if anyone here would know how to fix this.
P.S. the footage is just 720p basic Minecraft footage

If Adobe Premiere Pro keeps crashing when you try to import your 5-hour Minecraft footage, there are a few quick fixes you can try. First, convert the footage to a more stable format like ProRes or DNxHD using tools like HandBrake, VLC, or Adobe Media Encoder Premiere handles these formats much better than large MP4 files. Next, clear the media cache by going to Preferences > Media Cache, and restart Premiere. The basic settings of the different program versions are similar and set almost identically. Later versions have an extended and updated list of functions. Initially, you need to specify the path for saving the captured videos and screenshots. The C drive is set by default, which is not always convenient considering that the recorded files are quite weighty. To avoid overloading the system drive, you can set the saving to any other location. Next, I had to import the video footage I captured into the minecraft skyblock servers category for the whole process. How do this? I watched it on a blogger's channel.

Roily, yes the MediaInfo screenshot is helpful. It is better to use the "tree" view, which provides more information.

 

If you still have Premiere elements, can you import this particular file there?

 

Create a short sample with the same specs. Does that import?

You say "footage is just 720p" but your report shows 1360*768 which is (to me) and odd size

 

Other than that comment, I don't edit screen capture video so I don't have any other ideas
