How to change the location of the open captions (Premiere Pro 14.9 and earlier)

Hello,

 

I'm using the open captions, however, I found that the location of the caption only support 9 positions..  I can't change the 'y' to put it lower. For example, I'd like to change y from 96.88 to 100%. However, it seems not allowed. Any solution to help move the caption lower? Thanks!

Hello,

yes Premiere does'nt allow to go lower than a certain amount in the captions. The only way to bypass that limitation is to move the caption track altogether.

Just select your caption track in the timeline, and just change the position property in the Effect Controls panel.
