I cant delete the pauses when filtering them on the transcription menu.

I can't click on the button "delete" when pauses on a transcription are selected, because the button is greyed out and unclickable. I've tried Premiere Pro 2024 and Beta and it doesn't work in either of them. 
Does anybody know a solution or a workaround for this?
