Question

Image distortion when using Transform + Shutter Angle with GPU renderer (v25.1)

On Premiere Pro v25.10 (Build 73), enabling Transform effect with a Shutter Angle (38°–50°) causes horizontal image compression/distortion, but only when using the GPU renderer (Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration).

Environment:

 Premiere Pro 25.10 Build 73

 Windows 11 64bit

 GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3080

When switching to Software Only renderer, the image distortion disappears

Appears to be a GPU-rendering conflict with the Transform effect’s motion blur system

Test footage and screenshots with & without distortion are attached

Please investigate and address this issue in a future update.

Hi @和彦5ECE -  Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How to Report a Problem.

What gpu driver version do you have?

Can you update to the latest version currently 25.3.0 and let us know if you are still having issues?  I don't see this issue with transform effect,  it looks like you have other effects on your clip as well.  Can you let us know what those are and a screenshot of all of your settings.
