This is a bug report, that is all. The input LUT drop down actually drops up.

Jamie,

Did you read my post? As that has quite clearly laid out the issue I've had with this for years.

Stack another monitor over the program/main UI monitor, in Premiere. Put anything from a panel group to the transmit out on the upper monitor. Heck, you probably don't even have to do that.

Now the Basic tab Input LUT and Creative tab Look dropdowns drop ... up. I won't name people publicly, but in the numerous discussions I've had with devs at NAB for the last decade and at MAX, it wasn't a surprise to the devs.

Hi @Crispy Visuals ,

In order for the team to properly address any issues they are having they just like us to have specific details and spec before they start to dive deeper into finding a solution. The How do I write a bug report can take only a few minutes and does help give the team here at Adobe something to test out and create the same environment that you are experiencing the issue with. It is just helpful to narrow down and eliminate the most likely culprits so they can find what is at the root of the problem. Right now trying to recreate the issue you described has not worked out on a dual monitor Mac based system so we would love to have your help in getting to know your specifics and try to recreate it from a system with similar specs.

Thank you

Ian

My issue only appeared in the latest update. Bit of a bummer. There is another bug where the sliders all appear at the furthest left point, then when selected the value shoots up to the maximum value. Lumetri window is not useable since the last update.

My report was detailed enough to illustrate the issue at hand. Notice how Neil understood the issue.

Jamie, it's pretty simple.

You have "stacked" monitors, like most of us running 3-4 monitors do, right?

In my case, I run Premiere main window on the main, center (and lower) monitor, with the Transmit Only monitor above it. Project panel group to the left, an additional monitor for "floating" things on occasion to the right.

Now ... in Lumetri, click any of the 'drop down' LUT list options ... they don't go down, they go up. Across the divide between panels, and onto the upper monitor.

Totally bizarre, it's been that way since about 2018 or so. And as my T-O monitor is UHD, and scaled at 150%, it's even worse. Totally tiny, unreadable type.

I have talked with the devs about this every NAB for years. They know it happens, but said things like "well, just don't 'stack' the monitor then ... " ...

That comment and attitude, is more than a bit aggravating, as this is a very typical setup for colorist workflows. And for a lot of others, of course.

Understand, that having met many of the engineers, they're a great group. I love chatting with them. They're good people withal.

But this is an issue that is long in need of correcting. And no other panel does it, JUST the Lumetri LUT drop-down slots.

Hi @Crispy Visuals

Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue. Please see, How do I write a bug report?

Sorry for the frustration.

Thanks,

Ian

Yea, it can do that at times.

I have complained here and in person at NAB with the devs for years.

It needs fixing.
