Is Premiere Pro 25 Crashing on Startup? Share Your Experiences with Third-Party Plugins (win)

Im experiencing issues with the new version of Premiere Pro 25 (as well as with After Effects and Media Encore). The programs unexpectedly crash on startup, and I suspect third-party plugins might be the cause.

In my case, Boris FX Continuum (2021) and Volna 2, which worked perfectly in previous versions, seem to be causing these crashes. I’d love to hear if anyone else has encountered similar issues and if they’ve found any solutions. Please share your experiences and recommendations!

After removing the plugins, I was able to resolve the issue, but I’d like to understand what has changed from one version to the next for so many things to suddenly be incompatible.
