Keyframes bot working with Time Remapping

So maybe my workflow is wrong, but I film at a higher frame rate and then I modify the clip down to 24 fps for slow motion. Then I change the speed of the clips accordingly (250% or 500%) to playback at normal speed in order to find the clips I want to use in a timely manner. Then I add those sections one by one to my timeline and convert back to 100% on my timeline so it's in slow motion. The problem I have is when I go to do my speed ramps the cmd + button doesnt work. It shows an arrow instead.

So I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the way I'm doing things or if anyone else has experienced this problem because it happens to me all the time!

    It's odd, not necessarily 'wrong'.

    Either do your cutting first, or just scrub at higher speeds.

    @R Neil Haugen @Jim_Simon

    I guess that would cause less problems. I did find that the cmd + shift button reset while starting the program did fix it for now though.

    Also thank you everyone for not making fun of my typo  o.o

    Oh, jeez ... typos. I'm on my phone at times and wow ... that thing screws up things I've typed thinking it should say something else, and I try to always CHECK before 'posting' ... but ... yea, typos and odd words do creep in.

    So we tend to be pretty forgiving of such sins ...

    I would scrub through the clips to find what I want rather than change the time and playback at normal speed. But then I'm only working a few intentional slow-mo at a time.
