Microphone won't turn RED

Voice over records perfectly in Premiere Pro 24 BUT.... the mic for a moment flickers red, launches recording but the mic then turns white. It is still recording but you can't tell which mic you pushed. When you push the mic again it shuts off just fine. Just doesn't stay red when recording. this is cloud version and has all updates. Restart doesn't help.

Any ideas???

It appears not to be working in 24.5, but it's working in Beta 24.6 build 30

it won't, you just get a red recording pop up, whenever you click any mic it will stop and

get your audio on the track you initially clicked its mic.

Hi Carlos,

I've watched many voice over recording videos for the newest Premiere Pro Cloud version. In every case once you press the mic button, the screen gives countdown then says recording in red. ALSO the mic button is RED during the entire recording until you're finished and press space bar or the record button again. Then it turns off back to white. Seems to me the mic button if working properly on the timeline will turn RED during recording.

"Cloud version"? Creative Cloud desktop? Which version # of Premiere Pro are you using? That's what this forum is. Get the version from the HELP menu About screen. Make sure you're in the right forum. Let us know
