As I said it is a disaster. Premiere pro 2025 (last version) crashes completly mostly when I import video to a project. The computer freezes and I only can shut off the button.

I tryed to change my graphic card but nothing.

Changing hard discs do nothing.

I tried as well downgrade to 2024 version but it still remain happening.

Any idea please?

Msi tomahawk mag z490 (last firmware)

i9 11900k

Msi geforce rtx3060 ti (last drivers)

x2 M.2 nmve gen3

48gb ram 3200mhz ddr4

Camera: gh5 mark2

Thank you so much. I eventually figure out what was going on. It was an issue between the cpu and the motherboard. It is a 11 generation cpu and theorically runs ok in my motherboard but sometimes set up problems. I desactivated from the bios the CState process, turbo boost, hyperthreading, etc. and... magic! It doesnt crash! Now is the time to determinate which option is preciselly the reason of the desestabilitation of the system. Thank you!

Hi @defaultcg1w7d2cqoq4 - Can you navigate to your preferences under Media Analysis & Transcription and uncheck everything.  Let us know if that helps.

Also, if you activated your iGPU in the bios and it is still not showing up in the display adapters then it again sounds like you are running into a hardware issue.  Have you checked your windows updates?

Hi everyone. I did it all you required. I activated the 2nd gpu from bios but windows neither other programs recognoize it. It looks like only rtx one is running. After doing all you propose premiere runs better but I am afraid the problem remains. I figure out that changing the hard disc (nmve) where premiere charge the peak files has improve everything. But the program crashes yet. Any other idea? Thanks a lot

Hi @defaultcg1w7d2cqoq4 - Your Computer definitely has an iGPU,  This sounds like you are running into a hardware issue.  Can you try loading the BIOS and enabling your iGPU.

Thank you! My nvidia drivers are the 5576.52 studio version. I tried the shift start with all the boxes but nothing.

The program is freezed totally mostly when I import the files. It happens as well during the editing. No crash boxes neither dialogs. It only stops all my computer.

Hi @defaultcg1w7d2cqoq4 - We need to know which specific driver version you have installed.  I believe your system has an iGPU as well can you let us know which version that is.  You can locate this information in the Device Manager settings under Display Adapters.

Can you also add your exact steps which leads to your freezing.

Can you try and hold down "SHIFT" while launching Premiere and check the boxes
"Reset app preferences" (Backup Preferences first)
"Clear media cache files"
"Reset plugin loading cache"
"Disable third-party plugins (one-time only)"

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks for your answers. The drivers are the last ones on nvidia drivers web for rtx 3000 series and efectivily they are the studio version. I removed all the plugins on third panel. And there is not crash reports, the computer is completly freezed at all.

Hi @defaultcg1w7d2cqoq4 -
Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How do I write a bug report?

Let us know the exact driver version you are using and as Peru Bob has said make sure it is the Studio driver version.

Do you have any plugins on third party panels you are using?

Do you get a crash dialog box?

Sorry for the frustration.
