NEARLY EVERY NON-MULTICAM CLIP SLIPPED!

It sounds somewhat similar - (the clips going back to the beginning) however, the cause may be different. But have a look:

I will do that now. It obviously won't allow me to know whether or not the problem was fixed unless it happens again. But, as you said, it's more stable, so that's a plus. Thanks.

reverting to premiere 23.2. and opening the project will take maybe 5 minutes...

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to figure this out because I'm trying to finish the job I'm on. 

This one is, indeed, very difficult to diagnose. 

I'm throwin out a bunch of ideas, never easy to diagnose these things from a distance.  yes reverting to a previous version is possible...  and I'd suggest 22.2 as that seemed a very stable version for me at least...    click on the 3 dots at the far right of Premiere in creative cloud.   let me know if you have any questions.  

And I was suggesting trying the backup...   And with one clip,  try making it offline and then relinking and see if that helps...   Recently found that helped with some issues.   The fact that you had the issue with another network source makes me wonder if you have something in your workflow that might be causing the issue.

-- I will reach out to LucidLink, but they are built for use with Premiere Productions. And, as I said, I had this exact same issue happen years ago with the footage hosted on a NAS. So I doubt Lucid is the problem here. 

Is reverting to a previous version even possible? Premiere can't open projects from previous versions can it? 

please tell us your source properties and sequence settings in particular frame rates, sampling rates and codecs?   Do you have any spanned clips in your project?  Spanned clips are created when the recording media has a file size limitation and the camera hopefully creates multiple files that should come in to Premiere (or any other editing program) as single clip.  I have seen issues with them....  

Do you have a backup of all your media?    If so, might be worthwhile trying it and see if the problem persists.  And I'd revert to Premiere 23.2 and see if that solves the problem.  I have a client who had serious issues with Premiere 23.4 and reverting to 23.2 (the previous version he was using) solved the problem.    

Just googled LucidLink and see it's cloud based.  I'd worry about that being the source of the issue...   You might reach out to them and see if they have any other incidents.  And if they have support forums, try posting your situation there...
