NEARLY EVERY NON-MULTICAM CLIP SLIPPED!
I open the Current Cut project (in a production) this morning to discover that every non-multicam, non-stock footage clip in my timeline is slipped to a different section of the footage, namely the very beginning.
I thought perhaps restoring to an autosave of the project from a few days ago that would fix it. NOPE! The same issue is happening in an older version of the project where it never appeared before.
So, something is definitely happening under the hood that's causing this.
This isn't the first time this has happened either. A few years ago after Productions was released, I had the same issue. And, it was this issue that resulted in me transferring my project from Premiere to Avid Media Composer. Say what you will about Media Composer, this kind of stuff NEVER happens with it.
This is a downright disaster and I'm furious. I'm not wasting precious time over-cutting the clips in the timeline to somewhat match what they were before.
HEY ADOBE! IF YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY BY THE BIG GUYS, THIS KIND OF STUFF SHOULD NEVER EVER HAPPEN.
