Question

Opened up my project and the colour grade was different

I have been editing a music video with MXF files. When I imported the footage into premiere it appeared to be automatically colour graded. After finishing my edits I adjusted slightly but was generally pleased with how they looked.

I open up Premiere Pro today and now the footage looks in it's original form. with only the slight tweaks I added remaining. How can I get that automatic colour grade back on?

Here is an example with how it looked yesterday (vibrant colours) and how it looks today

I'm not sure, when I started the project and imported the files intro premiere, the footage looked vibrant and just needed minor tweaks. After weeks of editing it is back to RAW.

There is no such thing as automated color grade.

Or is there some sort of LUT involved with your footage.

Hey Ann! To be clear, I was editing in premiere for week using the footage with the automatic colour grade. Just the other day it randomly changed. What I;m trying to do is get it back to what it was before.

Please let me know if that is clear, and if any further info is needed to fix this.

Thanks

this doesn't explained why it randomly switched? And I watched this video but was unable to get my clips back to what they were before previously.

I deleted some adobe related apps off my computer is it possible that is something that effected it?
