How do I scroll the program monitor when it is magnified to, say, 250%... there are no scroll options from the side (up - down) and from the bottom (left - right)...

We see your posts, so no need to send multiples.

Use the Hand tool, (H by default) to move it around

Do you have middle mouse button? If so, you can use that also.

I'm an occasional user of Premiere. It was annoying when scroll bars disappeared in Program Monitor in v24, but I figured it out ("h" for hand tool). Now I just updated to v25, and "h" still gives me the hand tool, but it doesn't do anything. It won't scroll the program monitor. Why is this constantly changing? All I want to do is scroll the program monitor, seems like a simple enough task. And I don't have a middle button on my mouse.

Sorry, spoke too soon, I see there is now an option in the settings menu to show scroll bars .

But still puzzling why hand tool appears, but doesnt' work. (and no, I don't have a middle button on my mouse).

Glad that's helped. 🙂

There is still some ongoing discussion about this in the Premiere Beta forum.

It's been changed in the latest Beta builds and currently sits at the completly incomprehensible scroll the window up and down with the mouse wheel with no modifier keys?

?

They seem to be saying they will go back to the zoom feature (with no modifier keys) but so far, last few builds have not changed it. Keep your eye on this thread in the Beta forum: Beta ZOOM Feature in Program Monitor

You can have the Beta version installed along side the shipping version.

Great, glad you got it. 🙂

Are you on a PC or Mac? Do you have the middle mouse button. I do here, but it's an awkward stretch. Keep an eye out for some addition maybe. Check over at the Premiere Beta forum.

You can use your middle mouse button to scroll inside the window and the hand tool will also scroll the window.

Hi @STUDIO29K,

These scroll bars were removed in an earlier version. The mouse wheel can now control zooming in and out of the Program Monitor. See if that works for you.

Thanks,
Kevin

yes, the mouse wheel controls the zoom, but I can't move the video left, right, up and down in the program monitor when I zoom to, say, 300% (with a left click, as it was possible until now).
