Question

Premiere 2023 keeps crashing

I have been trying for over a month to edit a video I had started in a previous version. I accidentally had adobe automaticallly update to 2023 version and now I cannot do anything! It keeps freezing at the same spot. I keep getting error messages and eventually it just stops working all together. I erased cache deleted, reinstalled and nothing. Highly considering switching programs as this is getting ridiculous.

Hello @Gabizzl32741012288ks,

Thanks for the message. It’s been a long time since you filed this bug. I apologize for the lack of a response. Are you still having this issue? The team will need more info from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?

I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your information.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi Gabizzl,

Sorry for the frustration. It sounds like your project or timeline is corrupt. Have you tried deleting render files? How about copying and pasting the clips into a new sequence? If that doesn't work, can you create a new project and import the old one into it? Let us know how that goes. Please also tell us more about your system and media: How do I write a bug report?

With more info, I hope we can get someone from the Premiere Pro team can respond.

Thanks,
Kevin
