Premiere fills up C drive when I'm rendering my project.

Premiere fills up my C drive when I'm rendering my project into a different drive. I've changed my media cache files folder to a different drive, my scratch disc folders too and yet this ssues persists. I use media encoder to render my projects sometimes and I have changed the cache files to a different folder as well. It just eats away the space and I don't really know what to do. This didn't happen for a while but suddenly started to happen for no apparent reason. Any kind of fix would help a lot and thank you.

Where is your project folder located?

Within that there are the video and audio previews folders with the rendered previews.  If your project folder is on C: drive that will eat up space .

can you tell us what media you are editing and rendering ?.

Check out this thread: Info needed for a bug / tech support

I guess it's a PC since you mentioned a c: drive. I've not had any problems like that. What size and how much free space do you have on the various drives?

I've got around 60 gb free on my c drive and above a 100 on my d drive. That's the thing, this issue never happened before but for some reason it happened this time and I'm late on submitting my project.

Maybe you can clean that up a bit. My most populated drive has ~ 400gb free, and my most populated drive I use in PP has 600gb free. So, you might gain some performance if you release some space on your drives. All my PP drives are m2. The lone ssd (400gb free) is used for backup, utilities, storage, etc.
