Premiere gets stuck in single Frame shuttle mode.

This is something I have been dealing with for years and have never seen anyone mention it before. I'm not even sure if it's a bug or a "feature".  Because of how I use JKL and "Shift i" to go to the in point, I constantly have my timeline get stuck where it will only play one frame at a time with JKL. 

 

Hold down “K” then hold down “shift”.  Then let go off “K” and tap “i” then let go of shift. Premiere is now stuck in single frame mode until you hit “K” and “L”.

 

 

Am I crazy? Is this susposed to be like that? I get stuck in it like 20 times a day.

    Thanks for the message. It’s been a long time since you filed this bug, and I apologize for the lack of a response. Are you still having this issue? If so, the team will need more information from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?

    Yeah thanks for the repsonse. Yeah it still happens. Should mention this is on a mac. Never tested on a pc.

     

    Should mention this only happens if I use the FCP7 keyboard preset (or some version of it).

     

    Here is a video showing the issue (its a PC keyboard on a mac. also happens on my macbook pro so it's not a keyboard thing). Will submit a bug report.

    I know it's weirdly specific, but it happens to me everyday. Anyone else?
