When exporting frame (png) from premiere pro, sometimes it doesnt export the frame selected, but some other frame nearby.   Did anyone had this issue and known the solution to solve it ?

Correct answer Bruce Bullis

What timeline range are you setting, when using Custom?
Custom respects the in/out points under the video preview, in Export mode.

Also...if you're exporting a frame as a .png, why not just use the 'export frame' button under the Program monitor?

In the Export tab, what are you specifying for Range?

you are pretty much right. except for :

move CTI to to time T then EXPORT choose format : PNG

and the export is not time T but some other frame on the same sequence

It hasn't (yet) been reported, but that doesn't mean it's not worth further attention...

Steps to repro:

0 launch PPro

1 open project

2 import some media

3 put media into a sequence

4 move CTI to time T.

5 click the camera button, or hit Shift-E to export frame

6 choose format PNG, export

Result : Frame exported at time T + ??? (some random factor)
Expected: Frame exported at time T.

Do I have that right?

I did reboot and also reset the media cache without any better results
