Since the usage of premiere pro 2025, my mac crashes and freezes, since the volumes get to over 50GB, even though i am working with a very small project. It happens after a while and i dont know why. Never had this problem with the other Premoere Pro versions. I also cannot export. Very strange. I also have enough storage on my mac...

I am having this problem with Bridge and Photoshop as well.  I tried processing RAW photos into JPG, and Photoshop crashed halfway through the job.  And if I am just sorting photos in Bridge and try to play a video...it crashes.  Everything freezes up, the screen goes black, and then it reboots.

same here, crashes really often, I had similar problems with the last version but not as much. Last version crashed often when I shut it down from the X on right corner of the window(Im using win11) but now it just randomly crashes

I am having the same issue ever since the 2025 update, whenever I import my footage into premiere, it eventually crashes, it even froze my computer once. It's really frustrating because I am on a tour filming at a bunch of universities throughtout the country right now and I have a lot of projects and footage I need to organize but NOTHING IS WORKING and it keeps crashing, the update was automatic as well. I tried installing the previous version of premiere but I can't seem to open any projects with that as well because some of them were made with the 2025 version. This is a nightmare.

Same here!
Premier and Aftrer effects are crashing constantly since the update. I thought it might be my computer but after formating and installing everuthing again it keeps crashing. I wasted days on this.
I´ll try switching to the 24 version

Same predicament. I thought this was stable at first but when I work on tons of 4K footage, this version (Premiere Pro 2025) crashes after trying to load the thumbnails in the raw section. And this is after I create proxies for every raw footage I have. This doesn't happen with the previous version. It's frustrating to use and it interrupts focus, workflow and momentum. And it's hard for me to gain momentum in terms of editing videos.

I am having similar issues with PP2025. Windows 64bit OS, 64GBRAM, 2TB MVMESDD, Nvidia 3060.
It's a small project of about 10 minutes of pure video cuts. No effects at all. It crashes when opening and sometimes even freezes my entire computer. I worked on the project for 6 hours on PP2024 with no issues. Then I updated to PP2025 and this happened. And no I can't open the same project in PP2024 because Adobe has locked it to 2025. It gives me this error message sometimes and then crashes (see image). Again I have more than enough physical and virtual memory allocated to this program. This is ridiculous.

I am having issues too. Since the update to Premiere 2025 not only is the app unusable but my macbook is now super slow and crashing.

I hope everyone needs to raise this issue, already it's filled with too much bugs and crashes if we say something we become mean and rude. But now we need to speak no more excuse of asking what's your pc specification. I think even if it's latest laptop with good spec it's still an issue.  and they never solve any problem it takes 2,3 months. Anyway no point of mummbling here in community. It's best go back to older version, I did same and it works fine. Honestly nothing to say, or shift to another program it takes time but better than having this problems always. Love and hate relationship with Priemere pro 🙂

MacOS Sonoma here. Updated to Premiere 2025 and it keeps crashing after trying to locate missing media. Even if I select offline, it crashes, cancel, it crashes. I suspect it would crash anyway. I just unistalled the 2025 version and installed 2024. Works perfectly fine....

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble.

What happens if you run Premiere Pro in Safe mode?

Which Mac do you have?  There were a few years that Apple sold the MacBook Pro without dual graphics that only have 1.5GB of display RAM.  Those models need to remain on Premiere Pro 23.x or older.
