Premiere Pro Export Dialog Not Getting Focus

Hi, when exporting with Prem Pro clicking the export location does not always open the file window. It's as if the file window does not have focus as Prem then just pings when you try to do anything and the only way out is to close the app with Task Manager.

Hi Kevin, yes it was along time ago - So long ago that I can't remember what fixed the issue unfortunately but it's ok now thanks.

Now just have to contend with all issues the latest versions of AE appear to have!! - Incredibly slow, effect controls displayed that belong to layers in other comps (which it jumps to when clicked) and not the layer we're working on - WFix appears to be that we have to go back through the hierarchy of the comps to get the effect controls we need to display.

The latest versions have been so slow it feels like we've gone back 10 years!
Not impressed so have been trying out other software to find something more reliable we can move to

Hi Kevin, following on from my previous message - The Effect controls bug that many people have reported is making AE unusable. It has supposedly been fixed in V24 but we're still gettting the same issue. This needs to be addressed urgently as we are unable to do our work!

That's not good....

Can you try resetting preferences and see if it helps again?

I know it's not ideal but at least we'd know if it's helping.

Unfortunately the problem still exists - Resetting prefs may have fixed it temporarily but possibly just coincidence???
Also just happened when importing files

Just reset preffs and tried several times and window opened ok - Hopefully that's fixed it, many thanks for your help

Hi, yes it's as if the file window is behind the Prem Pro window. Can't move the Prem Pro window though as it beeps and won't let me - Basically the same as if the file dialog was open and you click on the Prem Pro menu bar. However can't see the file window. Doesn't happen every time but very often - usually when I've forgotten to save project. Have to close PP with Task Manager and re open.

Hi,

Are you saying that when you're in Export window and try to change export location, it doesn't allow you to do so?

Does it happen every time?
