Question

Premiere Pro is crashing even by just a single click

I've been working on a project for my job for the past week and Premiere Pro was working perfectly. Today however, I started having a specific issue. Here's how it happened...

The first thing that happened was the playback wasn't working, that usually got fixed after saving everything, closing everything and reopening.

Then, the playback panel (where you can see how your project is turning out) started turning white after a couple of clicks and the text that can be edited in the other panels turned invisible when editing them.

After that, it started crashing.

I have checked all my drivers and graphics, did all the diagnosis, even uninstalled the program and installed it again. The problem keeps happening.

I hope you anyone can help me.

Hi @Lisalyrics5C94 - I haven't seen a screen flash like that before looks like a video card problem.  We still need some additional information to be able to help you please see How do I write a bug report?

Hi! Thank you for your reply. No, I don't get any crash reports, and I don't believe I'm using any third party plugins.

Hi @Lisalyrics5C94 -  Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How do I write a bug report?

Do you get a popup that says to submit a crash report?  It sounds like you are running into a memory leak.  Do you have any third party plugins or panels your are using?
Sorry for the frustration.
