Premiere Pro timeline major delay

I have windows 10 adobe premiere and just today I have been experiencing massive lag or delay whenever I import a second file in to the project area. Every time I import a second file premiere becomes very unresponsive in different areas mostly the timeline. Any advice on what to do would be great.

    I appreciate the message and information. Are you still having this issue? It sounds like an issue that has already been fixed. If not, the team might need more info from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?
