Question

Premiere update 25.2.3 is terrible. Can I switch back?

My Adobe Premiere Pro recently updated to 25.2.3 on Mac. They've made all these unnecessary changes, like changing the default track widths, the new color scheme makes it hard to see cuts, and made clicking on clips more difficult (if you click the wrong part you can no longer delete).

I'd like to go back to the old interface – is this possible?

You may also change the settings in the manager program to NOT delete a previous version when updating

Adobe now offers the current and ONE older version via the online program manager... go to this link to see SEVERAL pictures of how to see the older versions, and a warning about having the download manager set to keep or delete older versions when doing an update

Hi,

You can always reinstall the application from the Creative Cloud app. Have you tried that? Which version did you want to revert to?

Thanks,
Kevin

You guys just need to slow down the release cadence and make sure everything is working.  This gimmick of a new rapidly releasing versions is no good.  We are paying users, not beta testers.
