Problem importing .braw files

Hi, I'm currently working on a project that was shot on 2 black magic cameras.
I have imported most of the footage and everything is fine, but for some reasons I have an issue with two of the clips.

When I try and import then I get the following error message:

Third party plugin required - Blackmagic RAW video support requires a plugin. For more information of to www.adobe.com/go/braw

But I have the blackmagic pluggin installed already and the rest of the .braw files are playing fine on premiere pro.

In finder, the two clips I have the issue with are displaying a different icon. See screenshot attached.

Could it be because those two files are corrupted, or is there anything I am missing here?
I have tried downloading them again from dropbox (the dp sent them to me) but have the same issue.

Would appreciate any help.

Hi @j_kergourlay - Rag and Bone has some good questions.  Let us know if you can provide additional information.

It does seem like those clips are either not downloaded to your device yet or they are corrupt since they don't have the Braw icon on them.

If none of these help answer your question then We will need a few more details to try to help with the issue.  Please see, How to Report a Problem.

The braw pluggin is up to date. I have the 5.1 insalled. I've messaged the guy that shot it but waiting to hear back from him to see if those files i have issues with were filmed on a different blackmagic camera. But if I have the latest up-to-date pluggin that shouldn't be an issue?

I'm going to ask him to re uplod the files and also check on his end if he's having an issue importing the file.

Any other ideas otherwise what the problem could be?

Check the Autokroma BRAW support page information. They give better support for the BlackMagic BRAW plugin than BM does. So there's information on a number of different issues that can happen. And yea, with the icon being different for those two clips, something is off.

Personally I gave up on the BM plugin as it kept having issues. And went to Autokroma, which has always just worked, besides giving more options for things like presets.

Total guess here: is your braw plugin up to date? Were those clips shot on a different camera?

The latest version of the Blackmagic software seems to be  5.1, dated, I think,  Oct. 30

That's the one I have installed, 5.1.

I downloaded it especially for this project as it is the first time i am working with braw files.
