When searching for "seq..." to find sequences, or typing out file names in full; The search bar renders 0 results when searching in the project window. It's been this way for a year now.

(10 year 40 hour a week editor here)

I don't suggest my GPU and so on in bug reports because I don't deem it neccessary sorry, let's try this.

Issue: Project window search is omitting results. Before typing all of the clips, sequences and assets are clearly there. When searching file name or sequence, there are always 0 results.

Adobe Premiere Pro Version Number: 25.1 but again, it's been this way for a year so it would involve previous updates as well

Operating System: Windows 11

System info: System info definitely doens't apply to this conversation.

Video Format: For a bin search restul issue? Okay: As7iii h.265

Workflow details: Every project ever. Dropping files into the timeline to genereate the sequence and general editing after that. I don't do any heavy work flow in the project window.

Steps to reproduce: Anytime I've searched "seq" on any project for the last year I wasn't shown the sequences in the project window.

Expected result: I want premiere to show me sequences when I search sequence and it shows me nothing.

Actual result: When I search sequence, the project window appears empty. When I don't search sequence, that same project window appears full with video clips AND sequences.

Additional context: I use sequence to illustrate the issue. If there is an image titled HK Mp5, and I search HK or Mp5 there are still no search results. This is an issue with the software. Search results are ALWAYS empty

Yes I've reset my preferences and am not willing to do that, because this has nothing to do with preference settings. This is either a bug, or a user error within the project window.
