proxy file are freezing my premeire pro!

hello there....

im using the last versoin of premiere pro but every time I enable proxy files the timeline and the preview window are freezing so much(I have to restart the software to stop freezing sometimes)----this started happening after i update my premeire pro to the last version

proxy type:proRes low resloution

    What type of proxy files are you using? ProRes probably are best. If h.264 (or 5), then start over with creating ProRes Proxy format files.

    Hi Ahmet,

    I am bumping the thread to see if you have any new info to provide. We still need information on your computer system, like CPU, GPU, and RAM. Is it possible to get that? I hope we can get a reproducible case for you with that information. We need your help, though.

     

    If you have an NVIDIA GPU, try rolling back drivers to 517. xx. That has helped others.
