Question

PrPro will not open at all !!

so I am chugging away editing and I get to the CC part and suddenly when I replace a clip PrPro says I quit.

I have 4k proResLT footage and about 3 third-party transitions from mogrt files in the timeline. But I can not even open it anymore to remove. It will not open any project.

This is the 1st project in which I used the memory setting instead of performance. I figure that since I have 48g ram lets see.

Is there a preference/plist list I can trash or something?

NOTE: I even ejected the drive in which the mogrt files were and clicked cancel when asked to locate them. Still no open.

    @shivangg

Ok. Holding the options button gets the project open. But what I found was that when I added a .mogrt  from "140 Flash FX" (videohive) freezes the program. It does that whether i add it to a TL or just import it into the EG panel. There are other mogrt files that have similar effect.

All of these mogrt files i have i downloaded just a week ago.  So previous to then i never saw a crash.

    Hi preditorj,

Sorry for the issue. Did trashing the preferences got it working for you? Here is a link to another discussion: A low-level exception occurred in: Adobe Scopes (Transmit::CreateInstance)

Most of the users got the issue fixed by resetting the preferences. Let us know if you have any other question.

    We're here to help.

    Thanks,

    Shivangi

Ok. I have tries read/write switching
Dumping Certain files and I actually uninstalled Premiere Pro, used Easy Find to locate all things Premiere and deleted thos files&folders. Then reinstalled.

After the reinstall, i was able to open up the project and play it. I also duplicated a clip and did some trimming.

However, the moment I imported a mogrt ("140 FlashFX Elements" from VideoHive) i got the spinning beachball. When i tried to reopen it after the crash I could see the clips in the timeline but they would not load to source monitor or sequence monitor. Then the beach ball.

    Force Quit

Reopened it and then i could not even see the clips in the TL anymore. So  deleted the folder with then "140 FlashFX Elements". Tried again and got the same result.

There is one little clue. Adobe Scopes:
