Question

R3D timecode in Premiere showing wrong?

I have an R3D file, and in Premiere it shows the start timecode as:

12:43:30:03

In After Effects, and Redcine (Abs TC), and Fusion, the start timecode is:

12:42:44:09

It's a 25fps clip. Duration shows the same. Changing the "interpret footage" settings does not seem to get it right. There isn't even a timeline involved at this point, this is just a raw clip I've dragged in. Anyone have any ideas of where to troubleshoot this? I have a bunch of these clips that I need to conform, and I'd love a solution better than "eyeball the video on each clip". 😞

If so, the team will need more information from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?

I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your information.

Thanks,

Kevin

Just a guess, what's the Drop/Non-Drop frame option and default time base option set to in the Premiere preferences? Does changing either of those change this?
