Re: Recent update is turning my Master Audio Channel from Stereo to Mono on older projects

I have this same problem in 2025.  The audio mix in a Nest has is set to mono and I can't create a new track for the master mix.  I't looking like whatever track that was used to generate the audio sets the main mix channel

What happens if you create a new project in Premiere Pro 25 and then go to File > Import and import the old project file rather than just open it? Did it work better?

 

Importing project files into new project generally works better than just open old project in new versions.
