Question

shakey / jittering video after export in 2017

I'm not sure how to fully explain this, but since upgrading to PP 2017. When I export, my videos have a slight jitter and shakiness.

My workflow hasn't changed, I am on a 2015 macbook pro with the AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB or Intel GPU.

I edit videos from a Canon 7D. During editing and playback in Premiere, everything looks fine. Once I export to the youtube SD/HD preset, the video jitters, its slight, but definitely noticeable, because the eyes feel weird watching it.

The only solution I've found is to transcode the footage I am working on, then render and everything is back to normal.

My problem is that, transcoding is not a step I had to do before PP 2017. Is this a known issue or is their a new setting that I am overlooking?

Hi APalgernon,

Please provide us following information for further investigation:

1. What is the import format of footage & exact Export settings when the export is shakey/Jittering?

(post a screenshot if possibleFAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video? )

2. What is the format of transcode of footage & Export settings when the export is normal?

3. Import the shakey/Jittering export file into Premiere Pro & playback in Premiere Pro & check if it is shakey.

R Neil Haugen Thank you for marking me in the post.

Thanks,

Vidya Sagar.
