Source Monitor Audio - Still Not Hearing All Channels ...

I think this bug has been reported before (and I think by me) and I also think it was reported as "resolved". But it's not.

It is still not possible to hear all the audio channels in the source monitor. This includes if the "Sum multichannel outputs to mono in Source Monitor" option is checked in the Audio Preferences.

If it is not checked, I would assume I can hear a number of channels equal to my audio hardware. This appears to be true for mono and stereo files, and multichannel files if those channels have not been modified at all. If it is checked, I should hear all source audio channels summed to a mono signal in the audio hardware. This is not true for multichannel files if those channels have been modified at all.

I am not here to "vent".

I have posted information. If the mods think this is in the wrong forum, please move it.

If you want to file this as a bug you need to write a bug report.

If you just want to vent then yes it gets moved to discussion.

Ann Bens, thanks.

You seem to be implying that the information I have posted is not welcome under "bugs" because it is not in the correct format.

If the mods feel this should be moved to "discussions" please do so.

It not about the forum

It's about you writing a bug report on your audio issue

Ann Bens, thanks.

My post was about audio problems, not issues with the forum.
