TEAM PROJECT: Media Offline issues with Motion Graphics Templates (.mogrt)

Hi everyone, I have a few questions regarding the use of Motion Graphics Templates within Adobe Team Projects.

I created several lower thirds in After Effects and exported the .mogrt files to a specific folder on our NAS. We have 5 workstations where I installed these graphics to ensure every editor can view and edit them.

The Problem: When some workstations insert a graphic into the timeline, other workstations see it as "Media Offline." Interestingly, if I or my colleague insert the graphics, the other 3 workstations can’t see the files correctly.

Our Current Setup:

  • Each workstation has its own dedicated Adobe account.

  • All workstations have their Scratch Disks mapped to a dedicated folder on the NAS (File > Team Project Settings > Scratch Disks).

  • 2 out of the 5 workstations use a separate internal drive for the Media Cache (Edit > Preferences > Media Cache), while the others differ.

  • We have imported the graphics into both a shared Creative Cloud Library (inviting all relevant accounts) and the Local Templates folder, but without tangible results.

Could someone clarify what I might be doing wrong? Specifically, how should the Scratch Disk and Media Cache folders be configured in a shared environment to resolve this "Media Offline" issue and ensure everyone can see the motion graphics consistently?

Thanks!

Distributing mogrts is often best done by putting them in shared Libraries ... have you tried that?

"Yes, I tried to create a shared library by inviting the other participants to the library but it didn't work"

You have two different setups that you are using for “allied files” ... the local media cache, which is actually the highly recommended mode if I recall correctly. By chance is that what you are running with?
