Timeline dragging does not show a wireframe of clip position

See attached video. In one of my projects, performance in general is particularly bad (4k media mixed with mp4's in timeline I believe is the problem). But when you select clips and try to move them around in the timeline, the clips remain where they were shown. The clips are being moved, but you can't see them. Definitely a bug.

Just experienced this now, spent 15mins checking preferences and settings, thought I had bumped a new shortcut key that toggles this (that would be a dumb feature). Eventually just restarted and the ghosted wireframe of click & drag clip is back.

For me the solution was this: Windows > workspaces > reset to saved layout (alt+shift+0)

Same issue. Turning off audio waveforms does fix it but is not helpful.

I'm having this issue on MacOS Mojave, Premiere 2019. I'm not using 4K clips but I have multicam clips. The interface starts to feel slower as well.

Having this issue as well, does anyone have a fix or any information?

I have this bug - my current fix is turning off the audio waveform display for my clips. I've actually bound it to a hotkey for the sake of speed.

Whenever the glitch starts, I turn off the waveforms and it fixes the problem without the need to restart the app.

Not ideal, obviously.

30th January 2020 and I'm still having this issue, extremely intermittent though with a restart quashing the problem for a good 30 minutes before it re-surfaces.

Agreed. Continues to be an issue with updated drivers and latest PP release. Aside from not seeing the wireframe, overall performance while using the mouse has a lot of lag.

Yes the same thing is happening for me. It seems to resolve itself when I zoom in but this is not very efficient and also the wireframe of the clip disappears when zoomed out again and try again to move the same clip. All my updates are up-to-date, so not sure how to resolve this.
