Trim goes out of trim mode after one mouse click if a clip is isolated on the time line in 23.1.0

On 23.1.0 trim mode drops out after a single mouse click if a clip is isolated on the timeline - ie it doesnt but up to the next clip but has space on the timeline. This is a new bug in this latest update - PLEASE ADDRESS ADOBE. Thank you.
