Urgent : Adobe Premiere Pro won't Open

Hi,

I had this issue 5 months ago. I want back to Premiere Pro 12 (I had to look for a non legal version of it)

Now I need to you the software again, but for some reason it crashes all the time.

So I updated the program. I though that after 5 months the bug should have been fixed.

I have the same problem.

Before posting thing message I though maybe I also had to update Media Encoder. It did nothing.

Please is there someone using the latest version of PP (12.1.1 if I'm not mistaken) with a MacBook Pro High Sierra from 2013?

Please Help this is so frustrating (and urgent) I need to use the program today.

Thanks a lot

    Berboo,

How is it going? Did support assist you? What did they help you with? Let us know for the benefit of others.

    Thanks,

I would love someone to take control of my Mac and try to figure out what's going on :-(

Try an online "chat" with Adobe here:

Thank you very much for trying to help.

I've just created a new account and connected through it to the CC App.

The program didn't launch with that new account either.

So I guess it's not a preference issue.

Yes the 12.1.2 is the one installed (I installed the latest version in the CC App).

    So frustrating...

Sorry, I meant a new user account on your Mac, not Creative Cloud.

Also, try resetting these permissions: Premiere Pro freeze or crash on startup on Mac OS X 10.9

Before reading your last message I had the idea of crating a new account on my Mac, what I did.

The program do not launch. It's the only one. Everything else opens smoothly (Photoshop etc.)

    I'll try your last link...

Now what I want to do is throw out this MacBook over the window...

Try trashing your preferences: How to reset Premiere Pro preferences

If an app crashes on launch that's almost always an issue on the user's end. It can be caused by bad preferences, incorrect permissions, a problematic plug-in, and many, many other things.

You are probably right but I didn't have any of this issues before updating the software.

forhermore I did a complete uninstall to install the 12.0 version and remove all the library directories that someone from adobe advices to remove that I don't think it's a problem of preferences...

By the way I applied the technique in your link but it didn't work...

Then I would try creating a new user account as a test to see if it launches. If it does launch in that account, then it could be a permissions issue back on your regular one. If this happened to everyone then the update would have never shipped, but it doesn't mean that there can't still be an issue with something else. Are you running the latest High Sierra update? Also, 12.1.2 is the latest update, see if that fixes your issue before creating the new user account.
