video and audio stops playing but timeline blue bar keeps going

ive been editing a clip for sometime now and the first 20 mins of the video works great, then once i get to the next clip it plays part of the clip then stops. The video and audio stops but the blue bar keeps going and nothing plays at all. Anyone know how to fix?
