Video scrubbing on source monitor is choppy

So I updated to the latest version, en when I try to scrub through media in the source monitor, it kinda gets stucks for briefs moments, then catches up. This is even when i use 1/8 of resolution. No problems scrubbing in the program monitor or the timeline. Is there anything I can do? Thanks

If you have a Nvidia card make sure you have the latest Studio Driver.
