When I exit, my individual clips become merged. How do I get them back?

Hello. I'm in Adobe Premiere Pro 2023 working on a Windows 11 platform. I was working with a sequence and closed it.  (This has the individual blue clips where I could replace them.)

When I opened it back up again, I only see one green merged movie and no blue clips. How do I get my clips back? Alternatively, how do I save a timeline to maintain the clip format? Please help and thanks.

A typical Nested sequence allows you to double-click to open in it's own timeline. Or ctrl+shift+f to reveal nested sequence.
