Theres no easy way to just load in a Premiere script as a menu item, like you might in After Effects.

However, there is a handy extension called JSX Launcher that allows you to load in jsx files you have prepared in Extendscript Toolkit, and then run them. No need to put them in a specific location, you can target whatever folder you would like.

worked, it's the internet thing. thanks

where the JSX Launcher is installed?

can i copy that folder to another offline computer?

i can't find it in my premiere install folder

Glad you have managed to do this.

No, unfortunately you cannot transfer the extension to another machine unless its a free license thats redistributable. It will break the license.

When it verifies the extension online it uses that machines mac address so it is machine dependent.

Aha, i was not aware of that. I must have missed all the buzz about it when it was introduced.
