Why don't button layouts save or work with Sync Settings?

Still having this issue 3 months later. It was easy to ignore early on but it's become very tedious having to re-edit the monitor button layout every single time I open Premiere. This is only one shade shy of having the keyboard shortcuts reset each time which would be a complete workflow disaster. 

Can we please get an update on a potential fix for this? Premiere has been great for me otherwise so it's a shame something as simple as this is spoiling the experience.

Same issue. Button layouts worked fine for, well, forever. Haven't done any upgrades on OS or PPro but suddenly button layouts on source and record reset every time I open any project, new or old. Using different workspaces makes no difference. Tried resetting prefs and adjusting preference sync settings––nothing helps. Mac OS Monterey v12.6, PPro v 23.1.0. Please please please fix ASAP or send a solution. Thanks.

You are not the only one who faced that issue! It's a huge pain in one place.

I'm having this same issue, but it's not isolated to the button layouts. Premiere also isn't saving any imported presets.

Every time I open Premiere (not only for a new project—any time I close and re-open at all), I have to manually re-import any preset that I'll need to use during that session. 

Adobe can build the most advanced video editor on the planet....they don't specilize in simple fixes like buttons that make video editing easier.  

This never was aa issue with my old pc running Windows 10.  Fast forward to a new pc, new operating system, and now I can't save the icons with the Button Editor.    Every time I close Premiere Pro everything saves except the Button Editor settings.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Running Premiere 2023,  v23.1.0, build 86, Studio Mac Ventura 13.1. Buttons under Program Monitor reset when opening Premiere. Tried importing into new project, nothing helps.
