Working with nested sequence

If I place CTI on nested sequence and double click on it I will get to the same position inside the nested sequence. How do I do on the contrary operation? How to get outside nested sequence to the same position of CTI?

A workaround (not elegant, but it will work):

Before double clicking, place a marker on the nested sequence.  Then place a marker inside the nested sequence after double clicking.

Place your CTI inside the nested sequence where you want to match it.  Count how many frames from the marker it is located.

Go to the marker on the nested sequence and count the same number of frames.

I dont understand this because when you play the nest either in the source monitor or program monitor you can see what is inside.

The OP is referring to the sequence that contains the clips that are nested (inside the nested sequence) and the nest within the main sequence (nested sequence).

At least that is how I understand it.

    So the question becomes:

Can you sync the Program Monitor to the Source Monitor?

    Hi сергейз48634810,

I don't think there is a way to do that. Maybe Ann Bens can suggest some workarounds.
