Question

Adobe Premiere Beta export frame not importing into project

Unless I'm missing something, since installing the beta version of Premiere, every time I export a frame with the "import into project" box clicked, it never actually imports. It does create a file on my drive, which I'm then able to manually import, but it would really save a lot of cumulative time for me to have it work the way it used to/should.

I did not check this for a few builds, but it is working in 24.1.0 Build 55.

Come to think of it, I noticed that last week too.  Now we're one or two builds later, so I wonder if it still is doing it?

"Import into project" is working for me: Premiere Pro Beta 24.1.0 Build 32 on Windows 10.

Do you mean export "a frame"? How are you exporting?

Yes, exporting a frame, which would normally make a .png etc and with the "import into project" box checked, it would automatically put it in my project bin, which sadly isn't happening now despite having the box checked. I'm on a mac btw

Ah. Using the Camera icon in the Program Monitor, set to png or bmp, and with Import selected, it does NOT import.

If I use File -> Export -> Media, and export .png with "image sequence" deselected, and Import selected, it exports one frame and DOES import to project.

Bug.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
