Premiere Beta v25.1.053 does not display RED RAW video anymore.

Premiere Beta v25.1.053 does not display RED video anymore, neither in the Program nor the Source Monitor. I can only get frames to show using Software Rendering, which is not an option.

I can see h264/h265 and ProRes footage just fine, just REDRAW that's broken. I think the last version or at least the one before worked fine. Not sure if I missed one.

Deleted the Settings folder to try to reset everything, but no change in behavior.

Latest Premiere Beta v25.1.059 from today fixes the issue for me. RED raw files are being displayed again.

That only gives me the option to install the Latest version. There is a section called "Older versions" but that's 25.0 not 25.1, let alone an exact build number. Might as well use 25.0 stable at that point.

Is it maybe different on Apple sillicon?

How did you download a previous beta? Can't find a way on how to downgrade to another build. That would be a game changer for beta testing for me.

My configuration is the highest macbook pro M2 ultra.. I was using the new color management system without any problems until now.

I was able to redownload the old beta version (the one from last week) and the problem disappeared, the problem come from the new bêta version (100%) and not a bad project setting or configuration.

Thanks @Shebbe and @Vincent29662422h6hm for confirming the issue. Thought I was going crazy when @Rach McIntire told me in a PM they couldn't replicate the issue.

@Vincent29662422h6hm can you post your specs please? Also the current beta build and the latest stable share the same project file version number. You can open the projects in v25.0, it will just will complain that some color management features used in the project are unavailable. But you can just ignore that message, depending on where in your workflow you currently are (if you're already at the color grading stage this might be a deal breaker).

Sidenote @Adobe: I know this is beta, but if you want people to actually install and test new beta builds then you have to have some sort of quality control. If every small daily update has a high chance to break basic functionality then people will get hesitant to install a new build if everything is working fine on some random build they are currently using. This is even more problematic since you cannot roll back beta builds.
This can't be helpful to your testing process. I know beta builds can break anything at any time, you just would expect the breakage to be more in the new features and not in tried-and-true functionality like reading a popular codec.

what an unexpected surprise.. I have the same problem since the last beta version, the problem need to be corrected quickly because we cannot even move the project to a non-beta version of premiere pro..

I can confirm RED media blanks out in Premiere Pro beta 25.1.0b56. Tested with sample footage of girl in make up room with color checker.

Switching playback to Software/CPU fixes it but is unusable of course.

    Specs:

    Ryzen 9 5950X

RTX 3090 Ti Driver 537.58 (forgot if studio or gaming)

    Hi Rachel,

I've replied to your direct message with more info and a screen recording of the issue. The exact same test project file works fine in the latest stable version, that's why I suspect the bug to be in Premiere.

(Sidenote: The part I mentioned with the timeline displayed in red does not happen in this smaller test project. So probably directly not relevant to the bug.)

    System specs:

Windows 11 (only just upgraded from Windows 10, where the bug also occured)

    Threadripper 3960x

    RTX 3090, latest studio driver

    128GB RAM
