GPU AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB not supported?

It says gpu rendering is "not available on my device", my computer has a AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB. Kind of sucks I can't use it, because it is good, and no better place to use it then when rendering 3D... Will this GPU ever be supported or only windows nvidia gpus are going to be supported? This is the common GPU type that comes with Macs. Adobe please support Mac GPUs too. Thanks.
