How to render still frame or animated PNG with transparent background?

Is anyone familiar with how to make the background of a PNG render transparent? I recall doing so in Painter but it seems that Stager is a bit different.

Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi @dant35204461,

Thanks for the question,

There's currently no solution to render a .PNG image with transparent background. With that being said, when rendering as .PSD, the Rendered image and the Background are separate layers.

Best regards,

hello @dant35204461 the way I solve for this is by going into photoshop. Using Automate > Batch and then use a custom action that you setup in Photoshop. The action is really quite simple, create a new action, name it "Png Transparent" And then start recording. All you have to do is hide the background layer, save as a png, and then stop recording. Now close the file and run the new batch action that you just created, you can find this under the Automate > Batch setting. also make sure to choose the folder u want to batch edit and the folder you want as the output. cheers!
