RH2022

Is there a way to omit certain sections/parts of a topic from RH's search index?

I am looking to speed up my search times. With my current frameless output, I am clocking 10-15 seconds for the search results to appear.  I have already had my devops guys look into the gzip settings on our server - everything is as it should be.

I have over 400 individual addon guides included in my web output.  Each guide contains database mapping tables and code samples.  Through testing, I have found that its the long tables and web response examples that I think are choking the search.   If i could prevent RH from indexing those tables, i think overall search performance would be much better.

@Jeff_Coatsworth is correct. It's a Topic Only option. It would be a useful feature though so why not add it?

I don't think there's any way to do that - the TOC has an option about hide from online {something}, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.
