RoboHelp 6 Print Docs

I was really looking forward to using RH6 to produce printed documentation because I attended an Adobe seminar where the presenter mentioned that there were lots of improvements. Well, I am very disappointed. I have yet to create a print doc in RH 6 without first going through quite a number of 'Code execution has been interrupted' message boxes. With RHX5, there were quite a few formatting issues, which I hoped would be corrected, but I never got error messages like this.

I don't know what the problem is, but I would sure appreciate some guidance.

Thanks,
Mary

I guess the other thing not asked is whether you have transferred this project to anyone else's machine to see if they then get this error. Worth a try. Zip it to copy it across.

First just try generating to a folder something like C:\PrintTest

C:\Documents and Settings\purcelm\My Documents\RoboHelp 6.0\Test RH6\!SSL!\Printed_Documentation\Printed_Documentation.doc ...
is one hell of a path.

This site claims to have an answer. You can see the question and you can see that the poster got an answer that worked for them. You have to join up to see the answer, min $13.

I guess I can't paste an image here...I get a window that says Microsoft Visual Basic in the title bar, Code execution has been interrupted as the message, a Continue, End, Debug (incactive), and a Help button.

When I click Continue or End, I just keep getting the same message over and over again until it finally stops. If I click Help, I get:

Code execution has been interrupted

Code execution can be suspended when necessary. This condition has the following cause and solution:

A CTRL+BREAK (Microsoft Windows), ESC (Microsoft Excel) or COMMAND+PERIOD (Macintosh) key combination has been encountered.
In the error dialog box, click Debug to enter break mode, Continue to resume, or End to stop execution.

For additional information, select the item in question and press F1 (in Windows) or HELP (on the Macintosh).

On another site I found an old post where just one user was getting the error message you are getting when they used Word. The person who responded is an authority on Word and he pointed to this post. It is a problem solving path from another guru. Whilst it relates to older versions of Word, much of it will remain valid.

I'll keep looking so do post back if you make any progress.

I'm just poking around Google with 'Code execution has been interrupted'.

It did reinstall without activation, but it did not fix the problem. This is very annoying.

Hi Mary

Can you expound on what you mean with "Code Execution"? Can you be more explicit with the error message?

Cheers... Rick

It will probably reinstall without activation but it is safer to do it the correct way.

Has it fixed the problem?

Too late, I already uninstalled and I did not deactivate.

I did check and I have admin rights.
