Spoiler during scene setup

I've created an AR experience that has the user tap on a red X to reveal a hidden treasure chest. The effect is spoiled when the user is prompted to choose a surface anchor, it already shows the treasure chest, even though it's set to hide.

 

Is there a way to select which elements are visible during user setup?

Hi simio

In order to achieve what you're looking for, you'd need to make sure that the treasure chest is set to invisible in the scene (using the little eye icon in the Scene Hierarchy panel) - and not to hide it through a Hide action at Scene Start.

Thank you. Yes that ALMOST fixes it. I say "almost" because the treasure chest is definitely hidden at the start, but when I tap to confirm my surface, there's a brief flash of the treasure chest element.

Did you remove the Hide action happening at scene start from the Behavior Panel?
